We also have 5 furry members of our family. We are currently mourning the loss of our Minnie (Mouse) an 8 year old wire hair terrier mix that was killed by coyotes recently. Daisy (Duck) is a 4 year old schnauzer mix. Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) a terrier mix that is just 4 months. Then we have 3 cats Anna Banana (Disney's Freaky Friday) and Mr. PettyBone (Goofy’s cat). They are both just over 2 years old and Alex just barely 10 weeks old (Wizards of Waverly Place). If you will notice they are all named after Disney characters.
The Man of the House works as an IT Director for a concrete construction company in North Texas. He enjoys being on the computer even when he is not at work. DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS ONLINE is his other favorite game online. Stephen enjoys playing Wizard's 101 with the kids when ever he can. He also enjoys golf when he gets the opportunity. The Man of the House also is an avid reader, known to get lost for hours in a book.
Croppermom is a stay at home mom educating the three little RainDrops. Eventually she would like to go back to college to be a sign language interpreter and a deaf/blind specialist. When she is not being a mom or a teacher she enjoys scrapbooking and cross stitching. She has renewed her interest in genealogy and cooking. When Croppermom was in school, she was a Girl Scout for 11 years. She now enjoys being a leader for both Ashlyn and Jessie. She stays busy planning and helping the girls with the Girl Scout activities.Pooh Bear is a pure girly girl teen. She, like most tweens and teens, has her phone attached surgically to her hand. She loves to read and her favorite subject is science. She loves to spend time with friends and play with her sister and brother, despite the fact, she claims that they get on her nerves most of the time. She is active in Girl Scouts where she is a Cadet and will soon be working on her silver award.
Boo is more of a tom boy than her sister. Pink is NEVER an option. She would rather be in shorts or jeans, than a dress. She loves to go find creepy crawlies, and animals. Her favorite animal is a monkey, in fact we think she is part monkey. She thinks that science is kind of cool. She loves Taylor Swift and Demi Lavato. Boo is the pasta lover in the family. Boo is a Junior Girl Scout. She loves her troop and her leader.Snoopy is a total boy. He loves to wrestle, climb and generally be loud and obnoxious. He is smart as a whip and loves to learn new things. Snoopy is convinced the only food out there is cheese, chips, Dr. Pepper and peanut butter, most of all he loves McDonalds and would eat it 3 times a day if he were allowed to. His favorite TV show is POWER RANGERS, any of the series is fine.
We are also in our second year as a host family to foreign exchange students. We welcomed Ba bo houng, in August 2010, into our family. She is from South Korea and turned 16 years old while she was here. Thay is from Brazil and arrived in January of 2011. She turned 18 during her stay, For the new school year we welcomed Magan from Thailand. She is 15 and arrived in August.
